1. Weather:
Overcast, high and middle clouds with rain. Visibility restricted to
1 to 3 miles in haze. Maximum battle area temperature 42 degrees, minimum
22 degrees. Forecast: Multilayered clouds with ceilings occasionally below
1,000 feet. Visibility restricted to 3 to 5 miles in light snow. Maximum
battle area temperature 45 degrees, minimum 25 degrees. (FEAF) (SECRET)
2. Enemy Situation:
Four company-strength attacks were directed against UN forces on the
east-central sector. Elsewhere across the front, several other small-scale
probing attacks and scattered patrol intercepts were reported. Heavy mortar
and artillery fire was directed against UN positions in the east-central sector.
The adjusted total of vehicle sightings for 11-12 March is 130g of which 89

3. United Nations Situation:
ARMY:
a. General: UN forces on the east-central front repulsed four company
strength enemy attacks which were supported by artillery. UN patrols
encountered scattered enemy groups of squad to platoon strength. (FECOM)

b. I US Corps: Activity in the Corps sector was light, with only two
Divisions reporting contact. An enemy squad probed an outpost position of the
1st ROK Division east of Panmunjom. Patrols of the 3d US Division engaged
several small-size enemy groups. (FECOM) (SECRET)
