Weather: Multi-layered clouds and rain showers moved from North Korea. into South Korea toward the end of the period. Maximum battle area temperature 50 degrees, minimum 38. Forecast: Scattered low and middle clouds over all Korea, (FEAF) (SECRET) 2. Enemy Situation: Hostile groups of up to platoon-size continued to make light probing attacks against UN positions in the west and west-central sectors between Panmunjom and Chorwon. Mortar and artillery fire continued light to moderate, with more than 1,000 rounds falling on 1st British Commonwealth Division positions west of Yonchon. The adjusted total of vehicle sightings for 25-26 March is 4,936, of which 3, 186 were southbound. (FECOM) (SECRET) 3. United Nations Situation: ARMY: a. General: A raiding party from the 7th ROK Division engaged an enemy company north of Yanggu for two hours before the enemy group withdrew. Elsewhere across the front, UN forces repulsed light probing attacks and continued to patrol against scattered hostile groups.
