Dear Harry:
ARCHIVES AND
ACHIVERY
ACCORDS
GREAT
SERVICE"
I appreciated very much your letter of
GOVERNWER
the eighth. It was good to hear from
you.
I know it is kind of tough having to go
back into the army when it looks as if
the war is over but there are certain
things that have to be done and I know
that you are going to do your job as it
should be done.
Glad you got to see Fred while at home.
I am going home today myself. I will be
there Saturday and Sunday. If I had a
little more time I would come down to
Camp Chaffee and look you over but there
is not a possibility of my being able to
do that.
The discharge arrangements are being worked
out as fast as they can but you boys must
have patience with the situation because
there are certain formalities that have to
be done thru with and then we must have the
forces necessary to carry out the peace. If
some of you have to stay a little longer in order
to do that it is just a patriotic duty and
that is all.
Let me hear from you whenever you can.
Sincerely,
Relations
