I am not running for President this time, but I am just as interested in the outcome as if I were a candidate myself. The Democratic Party has a splendid candidate in Adlai Stevenson of Illinois. He has no commitments to anyone, or to any group. He is interested in the welfare of the average citizen, and in leading the way to world peace. He will make a fine President, and I hope you will all vote for him this November.
