SUBJECT: Chinese Assets of $100,000 or over as of June 14, 1941
In accordance with your request, we are attaching an IBM run en-
titled "Foreign Assets of $100,000 or over, Located in United States,
Owner Located in China, from TFR-300 Reports," representing data as
of June 14, 1941. Available records indicate that this was a special
run made on February 3, 1945, based upon final consolidated edited
reports.
You are, of course, familiar with the Treasury treatment as
classified material of the individual reports received under the TFR
censuses. It is assumed that any use of the attached IBM run will be
consistent with Treasury policy.
The following explanations of the codes used will aid in the
interpretation of the information:
Name of Owner - National whose property is reported.
N - No special significance.
Key Serial Number - Lowest serial number assigned to reports
received regarding property of the national.
Number under which all reports for the
national are filed at the Office of Alien
Property.
Page Number - No special significance.
Loc. - Location;
Cit. - Citizenship;
Nat. - Nationality;
Other Nat. - Other Nationality (if more than one, in accordance
with TFR-300 definitions) --
