Honorable Douglas Jenkins
United States Consul General
American Consul
Berlin, Germany
Dear Mr. Jenkins:
I am very much interested in the
application of Heinz Finkelstein, W. 35
Blumenhof 15, Berlin, Germany, for a visa
to come to the United States.
The applicant is a boy about 15
years of age. He has relatives in this
country who are anxious to bring him here,
and they are well able to care for him and
guarantee that he will not become a public
charge.
I am acquainted with Mr. H. J.
Galamba, a cousin of the applicant. Mr.
Galamba is a member of the firm of Sonken-
Galamba Corporation, and is an outstanding
citizen of Kansas City. He is willing to
sponsor Heinz Finkelstein, and I am sure
that he will live up to his guarantee.
I will appreciate anything you
may be able to do to expedite this case.
Sincerely yours,
DEPARTMENT
