JOHNSON, Daily Diary Mrs. Johnson began her day at (Place) Stanley Towers, Montreal, Canada Date Sunday, 20 August 1967 Entry No. Time Activity by 1:15 / 8:15 Departed Stanley Towers with Max & Marietta Brooks. 2 8:39 Arrived at the U.S. Pavillion and toured. 3 9:47 Arrived at the British Pavilion (via Balade -- small train) and toured. 4 10:50 Went to the Mexican Pavilion and toured. 5 11:28 Went to the Quebec Pavilion and toured. 12:01 Arrived at the Atlantic Provinces Pavilion - toured. 12:08 Left on foot and went to the Canadian Pavilion for a tour and luncheon in my 7 honor. yest 8 2:25 Left via Balade and toured "Man the Explorer" Pavilion. 3:45 Went to Helene de Champlain park and got into cars for a small tour of Montreal 9 with Max & Marietta and Mr. Champagne -- saw Latontaine Park (childrens' park). 4:30 Drove to the top of Mount Royal for a view of the city (cloudy). 10 4:45 Arrived. at Stanley Towers for a rest. 7:35 Left the Towers -- took short tour of Old Montreal including Notre Dame cathedral. 11 7:55 Arrived at the City Hall -- greetings from Mayor Drapeau; I made a few remarks and then we went inside to sign the guest register. 8:41 12 Then returned to the Fair Grounds for dinner as the guest of the Belgian Ambassador in the Belgian Pavilion.
