JOHNSON, Daily Diary Mrs. Johnson began her day (Place) The LBJ Ranch at Date Wednesday, 10 January 1968 Entry No. Time Activity Worked around the house and at desk. 12:10 Toured ranches. 1:05 Returned to the main house. Lunch with the President, Jim, (Marie & Luci were ill with the flu). Nap. 4:00 Took a drive with the President -- picked up AW -- got stuck -- toured the Lewis and Sharnhorst ranches. 7:05 Returned to the main house. Dinner with the President, Pat, Marie, Jim, and Mary Rather. Worked with Mary Rather (dictated letter to Loyd Hand). Talked with Marvin and Bill Deason on the phone. Played with Lyn. 9:30 Retired.
