THE WHITE HOUSE WASHINGTON MRS. LYNDON B. JOHNSON, Daily Diary Mrs. Johnson began her day at (Place) LBJ Ranch Date Thurdday, 28 November 68 Entry No. Time Activity Dictated 8 Dec68 8:38 i went to 9am!services at St. Barnabas in Fredricksburg with the Presitlent, Lynda, Luci c Mrs. Rostow, Melinda, Helène, Jim ánd Olivia Jones 10:46 returned to the Ranch the press had been invited back to the house for coffee on the porch the First Family then Came out on the lawn and posed for pictures (all present except Cindy who 2 was sleeping) Lyn was in his Air Force dress blues and of course Yuki was right there in the middle ! 12:00 CTj drove Cwith the President, Lucif, Lynda, Lyn, Melinda Bates and Helene to the Birthplace for a family picture to be used on a postcard eventually. 3 : 12:15 leave Birthplace and drive to Johnson City Boyhood Home `pose for pictúres on the pórch and by the well 12:45 leave Boyhood Home with a stop at the Bank 12:50 stop at Melvin Winter's airstrip to drop off Luci and Melinda who were going into Austin to see the big Texas foothall game : stopped by the Art Gallery and got out to look at the paintings in the window 1:25 arrive back ät the Ranch lunch with the President, Arthur and Mathilde Krim, the Krim's daughter, Daphna, Lynda, Jim and Olivia, Marie, and Helene (Lucinda joined the table at the end of the T meal) DO (ham, cheese souffle, popovers, salad)
