A/ Some time ago Johnny Shaheen wanted to be appointed to a board.
K: Everybody thinks
are in my hands when they want a fall guy.
A:
This was started by Dirksen and I have been working with Flanigan.
K: Your opinion is worth much.
A: I hope it is. I talked to the President about this. He said H Shaheen
is a friend of ours and have him put on.
K: If the President wants him, The will go on. I will talk to the President.
A: I would appreciate it. I just got a good report that you met with a group
of Minhigan boys.
K: That was an enthusiastic group. They were cheering and applauding.
A: There were ? ? ? ? A group of kids from Bloomington got mad about
fires and such SO on the spur of the moment they had a "respect the flag"
day and had SO many the couldn't get in the door.
K: They can't stampede this country this way.
A: The Michigan boys said they would try the same thing. We will get
groups together and ? ? ? ? ? ?
