S: When K can I have 30 mins. of your time?
K: Friday is probably best. Can I have my office call you?
S: Friday is best and I'm reasonably free. We have an opportunity to get
together with Miazawa if we move. He is in Paris and he asked Shimoda to
ask State if k I will be here if he comes to Washington. We may want to see if
he can negotiate or whether to meet him some place else.
K: Why don't we give him the choice.
SI: I could meet him in Paris.
K: Leave it up to him.
S: I talked to Rogers yesterday. He said "keep my people out of it and
sell it. 11 I said I don't think his people wanted that.
K: If Bill feels that way, go ahead.
S: I will see if I can meet with Miazawa, probably in a neutral place.
K: Good.
