K: Did you ever get to Bill Anderson yesterday?
V: Itried all afternoon and all evening. I've got it here and I'll try all
weekend. There was no answer at all.
K: Not even at the Chicago Tribune?
V: No, I tried him personally. We have one lingering. Is Ambassador
Bruce going to Europe?
K: Probably not.
V: I keep getting questions.
K: You can say no. You should stop talking about the President's trip to
Europe. He may not do it.
V: I have another one as well. It's been lingering on your desk. I want
to tell Sherman you can't do the Overseas Press Club SO he can get someone
else.
K: Right, OK.
