Your Royal Highness:
We are pleased and honored to welcome you on the occasion
of your third visit to Washington during this Administration. You
will always be welcome in this home, and we look forward to
frequent exhanges between the US and Saudi leadership as we broaden
our areas of cooperation.
The friendship between America and Saudi Arabia is of long-
standing and its roots are deep -- nurtured not only by the warmth
of the ties between our people but also by the potential benefits to
be enjoyed through expanded exchanges between us. We can be
proud of the progress we are making toward this goal.

past, holds even greater promise for the future. I know that in your
