It said the President's commission failed to represent
the views of 70 percent of the nation's students. "For
too long the moderate student has not been heard, 11 said
Grover Rees, a Yale junior and Chairman of the five-
member Commission. "The three reports released
thus far by the President's Commission have served
to obfuscate rather than to define the causes of
disruption on campus, 11 he said. "The Commission
seems reluctant to dismiss the radicals for what
they are -- a relatively small group of politically
naive individuals who have been misled by a smaller
band of Marxists and common thugs. 11
