RE: RADIUM CASES #3486-LDF
C. B. Lee, President,
U. S. Radium Corporation,
535 Pearl St.,
New York City.
Dear Mr. Lee,
I am enclosing herewith copy of Notice to Produce
served yesterday in the case of Quinta McDonald VS. United
States Radium Corporation. A similar notice was served in
each of the other cases.
I would suggest that you locate at once all of the
correspondence, if any, between your Corporation and Dr.
Hoffman, between your Corporation and the Consumers' League
or Miss Wiley and between your Corporation and the Labor De-
partment or the Commissioner. I do not know whether you
have secured the return of the affidavits mentioned in the
Notice.
With regard to your corporate books and records
Mr. Berry said that he desired particularly the minutes of
the Directors' meetings. As suggested to you yesterday,
it would be well for you to examine the minutes of the
Directors' meetings to see if they contain any information
of any value in this case.
Everything that you find
referred to in this Notice should be brought with you to
Relations
