& Smith, with reference to the suit of Mrs. Canfield, and if it is
agreeable with you we should like very much to discuss with them also
the possibilities involved in the claims of Miss Peer and Miss Phillips.
It is our opinion that Congleton, Stallman & Hoover will permit
of an examination of their clients previous to the institution of suit.
So far as a test for radic-activity is concerned, next week would be
a very opportuns time to make this, since Dr. Herman Schlundt, of the
University of lissouri will be in N.Y.C., and available. You will recall
that we used Dr. Schlundt last spring while defending the five cases
which we settled out of court.
