Mr. E, A. Markley,
Collins & Corbin,
1 Exchange P1.,
Jersey City, N.J.
Dear Mr. Markley:
Dr. Humphries advised me yesterday that
La Porte called hin on the *phone Saturday, May 23rd, stating
that he had just received his communication, advising that we hed
heard from their lawyer Mr. Unger.
Mr. La Porte, told Dr. Humphries that while they
had consulted Mr. Unger, the case had not been placed definitely
in his hands, and that he was free to negotiate with us if we felt
so disposed, and that he would be glad to see us on Saturday,
May 30th.
If this day is convenient for you will you kindly
advise me of the time you would like to see Mr. La Porte. I
understand Mr. La Porte is a salesman, and is out of town most
of the time, returning to Orange over the week-end occasionally.
In case you cannot see him on the 30th, will you
kindly indicate the first Satirday that it will be convenient for
you to see him?
Sincerely yours,
Vice President.
