MEMORIAL HOSPITAL INCORPORATED 1884 WALTER DOUGLAS YORK AVENUE AT 68TH STREET AFFILIATED WITH CHAIRMAN, BOARD OF MANAGERS CORNELL UNIVERSITY HARRY PELHAM ROBBINS NEW YORK, N. Y. MEDICAL COLLEGE PRESIDENT TELEPHONE: REGENT 4-5500 CHARLES H. SIMMONS DOUGLAS RESEARCH VICE-PRESIDENT LABORATORIES H. MORTON MERRIMAN SECRETARY HUNTINGTON FUND FOR EDWARD C. DELAFIELD CANCER RESEARCH TREASURER - - JAMES EWING, M.D. GEORGE F. HOLMES DIRECTOR SUPERINTENDENT March 9, 1940 Mr. C. B. Lee, President U. S. Radium Corporation 535 Pearl Street New York City Dear Mr. Lee: I have a letter from Mrs. Larice, dated March 4th, in which she states that Mr. Larice has finally come home from the hospital, but that in the meantime, she had had a bad fall and Dr. Humphries felt that she should keep the woman she has had to assist her in her housework for a couple of weeks more. She states that she is planning to let her go on March 14th. She also requests that she may be allowed to order a new corset, as the one she has is over a year old and pretty well worn out. She promises to come in to see me when the weather is better. If you will agree, will you kindly write her directly, sending me a carbon copy, authorizing her to buy the new corset and to continue to employ her housekeeper until March 14th. Very truly yours, Leoyl F.Cam Lloyd F. Craver, M. D. LFC:M MAR 12 1940
