THE WHITE HOUSE
WASHINGTON
June 19, 1947.
Dear Mrs. Roosevelt:
I had intended replying to your
note of June 5th before this, but as
you know I have been traveling rather
steadily all of this month and am just
now catching up with my correspondence.
I shall be delighted to see you on
Sunday, June 29th and suggest you come
to the White House at 3.00 P. M. If it
would not interfere with any plans you
may have I would very much like to have
you drive with me to the ceremonies at
the Lincoln Memorial. I believe these
ceremonies are scheduled to begin at
4.00 P. M.
With kindest personal regards,
ain'
