Slight increase in enemy machine gun fire in nouthern half of sector, Enemy alert and apparently nervous in vicinity of nois de MANHEULLES. II. ENEMY FRONT LINE. No known change. III. ENEMY ORDER OF BATTLE. No known change. TV. ENEMY INFANTRY, Increase in intermittant machine gun fire. Otherwise no evidence of unusual activity. V. ENEMY ARTILLERY. Two balloons reported active in vicinity of FROMEZEY and GUSSAINVILLE. IX. WISCELLANEOUS. Several enemy signal projectors seen working in vicinity of ETAIN and points P-38,39 and U-38,49.
