Headquarters 35th Division American Expeditionary Forces lst February 1919. tile G-3 MEMORANDUM NO. 40: 905 1. Pursuant to instructions from Second Army the remainder of the period in the present area will be devoted primarily to the necessary details of preparing and turning in equipment and to such policing as will insure that the entire area will be left in the best possible condition. The regu- lar schedule will be followed, however, whenver time is available. 2. Organization commanders will impres, up on the men of their command that the departure of the division, both from this area and from the Le MANS area; will depend largely upon the reports of inspectors on conditions existing in the areas.
