1. The 35th Division Reunion.
2. St. Louis, Missouri, June 9-10-11, 1950.
3. Battery "D" Headquarters will be, The Desoto Hotel, 11th & Lucust,
St. Louis, Missouri. We have reserved 40 rooms.
4. Please fill out and return the inclosed card (Sign it, please).
5. We must have a reply by April 25th in order to secure tickets for
those who wish to attend the Municipal Opera, Friday Night,
June 9th.
6. Corp. C. J. (Sox) Sampson, Chairman, together with the St. Louis
Committee: Lt. Valentine J. Brown, John M. (Cornwilly) Carnie,
Carl A. (Handle Bar Mustache) Hamma, Robert (AWOL) Hughes, Jack
(Lost) Jeffers, Vere C. (Puggy Dog) Leigh, Harry (Two-Gun) McCarty
Frank (00 La La) Sain, Harry (Lead Driver) Schrader and Earl (Bunk
Farrow are bending over backward to arrange for D Battery gang to
have one "H" of a good time while in St. Louis.
7. Baseball: Nitegame - Boston Vs Cardinals
June 9th
Daytime Giants Vs Cardinals
June 10-11th.
8. We are leaving it up to St. Louis Committee to promote Free Beer??
(I'll bet a $2.00 bill it could be done in Milwaukee).
9. If we know you're coming, Sox might bake a cake.
10. Breakfast with Captain Harry (tentatively) Saturday A.M., June 10th
11. The Committee suggests for the Parade - canes, D Battery arm bands
white shirts and dark pants.
