TIMMONS SUBJECT: Breakfast with Senate and House Democrats Wednesday, February 10, 1971 8:00 - 9:30 a.m. The East Room I. PURPOSE: To show your personal interest in new legislative proposals; to give Congressional Democrats a better understanding of your reorganization and revenue sharing initiatives; to brief Members on operations in Laos. II. PARTICIPANTS: In Tab A. III. AGENDA: In Tab B. IV. BACKGROUND: 1. To give all Democrats an appreciation of your new legislative proposals, you have invited one half of the Senate and House Democrats to breakfast this Wednesday and next Thursday, February 18. 2. Invitations were extended alphabetically, but because of scheduling problems, some Members requested to switch their assigned days. 3. At the Head Table will be the President, John Connally, John Ehrlichman, Allen Ellender, Mike Mansfield, Hale Boggs, Thomas O'Neill and Olin Teague. Other guests will be seated at round tables. 4. Revenue Sharing will be introduced in the Senate
