welcome us back to the United States, and to the millions
of others who are joining us through radio and television,

I-would say first that it always is good to come home but
especially to come home from a journey that has advanced the
cause of peace in the world.
I.
As we left Moscow earlier today, with hundreds of
U. S. and Soviet flags flying side by side, I thought
of the fact that millions of Americans will be flying
the flag from their homes tomorrow, on the Fourth
of July.
