Letter from Joshua Leavitt, New York, to Amos Augustus Phelps, June 24 /'40
In this letter to Amos A. Phelps, Joshua Leavitt expresses his belief that Mr. Janes would make a good agent for an anti-slavery society. He also talks about the reception of his recent speech, and expresses his wish to have it printed in newspapers, including the Liberator.
