Buckingham Subject: agnes v Kuroweky # 17500 Attached is a copy of my original letter to Mrs. William Stanfield, the Agnes von Kurowsky of World War I, a Red Cross nurse stationed in Milan, Italy. Enclosed also is her reply when and a letter of acknowledgment which I sent her on May 11. I will be interested in any information you are able to secure concerning the various Red Cross nurses mentioned by we have for Mrs. Stanfield in her May 6th letter. Our field of information concerning Hemingway's career as a Red Cross ambulance driver during World War I is now growing and presents a rather well documented record of his service with our organization.
