Dear Mrs. Moulton,
when I saw Ginger and Ellis in Europe,
they said you would be at the convention in
Chicago as the National Committeewoman for
New Mexico. I am going to be in Chicago for
the convention and will be at the Drake Hotel
not later than July 6 and hope to arrive on
July 5.
Since I have absolutely no official pos-
concerning ition, of the and delegates hear
chances are I will see nothing
the activities
but I am going to attend my first convention
and try to find a way to get in on some of
the activities.
Itam ofairly certain I could have been
named an alternate from California if I had
not come out openly for General Eisenhower
It would be nice to see you while in
Chicago you New York City, know where at 435
so if will let me
East 52nd Street, you
will be, I will give you a call and maybe
we can have dinner or something together.
I hope you are for Eisenhower and that
he will be nominated.
Affectionate regards,
Jacqueline Cochran
