Res. 811] The Committee on Appropriations, to which was referred House Joint Resolution 811, making supplemental appropriations for the Legislative Branch for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1976, and for other purposes, report the same to the House without amendment and with the recommendation that the joint resolution be passed. SUMMARY OF THE RESOLUTION A total of $33,000,000 in new budget (obligational) authority is recommended in the resolution to complete construction of the Library of Congress James Madison Memorial Building. The budget request in this amount is contained in House Document Numbered 94 . INFLATIONARY IMPACT STATEMENT Clause 2(1) (4) of rule XI of the House of Representatives requires that each committee report on a bill or resolution shall contain a statement as to whether enactment of such bill or resolution may have an inflationary impact on prices and costs in the operation of the national economy. It is estimated that the appropriation of $33,000,000 for the comple- tion of the Library of Congress James Madison Memorial Building will have a minimal overall inflationary impact on prices and costs in the operation of the national economy. The superstructure and exterior of the building have been substantially completed.
