LEAVES OF ABSENCE In view of the early departure of this commend from present stations no leaves of absence or furloughs will be granted until further orders from these Headquarters. II. football GAME The 35th Division Football team was eliminated from the Second Army Championship by the 7th Division at Toul yesterday, the score being 6 to 2. The 35th Division scored on a Safety in the first quarter. The scoring of the 7th Division consisted of one goal from placement and one drop-kick scored in the second and third quarters. III; WRESTLING AND BOXING MATCHES Six contests in the semi-finals and finals of the wrestling tournament and finals in the middleweight class of the Boxing Tovrnament, together with a Battl Royal, were held last night at the Commercy Thentre with the following results: WRESTLING SEMI-FINALS LICHTWEIGHT: Grimstead, Hdqrs. Troop, won from Ridley, 159th Inf. with a cross body hold in 7 minn 22 seca ARCHIVES HATIONAL RECORDS SERVICE" AND Lewis, 110th Field signal Bn., won the decision over Curtain, 139th Inf. Co MIDDLEWEIGHT: Anderson, 110th Field Signal Bn. won from Johnson, 110th Field Sig. Bn. Holcombe, 110th San. Train threw Koenzel, 139th Inf., in 8 min. with a scissors on arm and half Nelson. FINALS LT. heavYWEight; Kemper, 110th San. Train, lost the decision at the end of 20 min. of wrestling to Keller, 129th Mach. Gun Bn. HEAVYWEIGHT: Billiard, 130th Field Artillery, threw Bursch, 139th Ini., in 2 min. 4 sec. thereby winning the heavgweight championship of the 35th Division. BOXING FI INALS -- MIDDLEWEIGHT: "Bud" Clancy, 138th Infantry, won the 35th Division Championship of his class by stopping Winters, 139th Inf. runner-up in the tournament in the first round. The next boxing show will be held at 7:00 P.M. Saturday, March lst, in the Commercy Theatre. Six of the best Prench Boxers from Paris will appear against the new championsof the Division. Jimmy Bronson of Paris will referee. In addition to the above bouts there will be the finals of the light-heavyweight and heavyweight classes.
