THE PRESIDENT
Asked and got approval for change of meetings to 11:00 AM on
Mondays and Fridays from now on.
Informed the Cabinet that we must take initiative to offset the
current campaign to discredit the President and the administration.
Plans to form a strategy committee to implement this drive.
MARSHALL
Asked if a research group is to be formed to provide speakers
with material for speeches.
THE PRESIDENT
That is to be part of the program.
PERLMAN
Urged the creation of a Policy Board to meet one night a week to
further this program. The group should include a man from House and
from Senate.

Has worked out agreement with U. N. to have own stamps and own
postmark on all mail emanating from the U. N. Headquarters.
