COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY
EARLE C. - CLEMENTS
EXECUTIVE CHAMBER
GOVERNOR
FRANKFORT
March 3, 1950
Mr. Daniel Francis Clancy, Director
National Committee Against Limiting the Presidency
P.O. Box 322
Springfield, Ohio
Dear Mr. Clancy:
This will acknowledge receipt of your
February 24 letter.
At this stage of the 1950 Regular Ses-
sion of the Kentucky General Assembly, which is within
ten legislative days of adjournment, there has been no
action taken by the Legislature on the proposed Amend-
ment designed to limit the terms of office of the Presi-
dent.
In addition to this lack of action, I
can advise that there has not been, to my knowledge, any
discussion or any indication that there exists any senti-
ment or plans to consider this matter during the current
session.
With all good wishes, I am
Sincerely yours,
Bluerd Astranis
Edward A. Farris
