MEMORANDUM FOR: GENERAL SMITH US Embassy New Delhi reports local press accounts of the speeches made to the Indian Parliament on 10 June by three members of the Pandit Mission. Madam Pandit : The Chinese Government has come td stay. It commands the people's respect and loyalty. Bureaucracy and corruption are being eliminated but the methods used seem very drastic.
