S: Well, SO are you. I'd love to get together with you and I know how God-
damned busy you are. We got some critical negotiations coming up, not only
with the Saudis,= which is secondary, I was out at the CIA to talk a little bit
today about what their Saudi, Iranian, etc., and some strategy that sort of
K: Well, how about noon on Monday?
S: Let me take a look at my schedule. I was thinking if you have any time over
the weekend, I could do it, I know. I got a lunch with the InternationalMonetary
Reform group on Monday, starting at 12:00 noon. Our negotiations with C-20's
start. Are you going to be in tomorrow?
K: I'm pretty tied up. Can I call you in the morning?
S: Of course, I'll be here all day tomorrow and I'll also be available Sunday.
K: Sunday, I'm going to take off if hell freezes over.
S: Good, for you.
K: But we will get together
S: One way or the other, we can do it early or late or I'll just accommodate
my schedule any way I can, but it's all the former Secretaries of Treasury and
bank presidents and what have you that come in to advise us on monetary reform
and I just have to make this one. The main issue I. want to talk to

Helmut Schmidt, which immediately transents to your area.
K: No, we've got to talk soon. I'll call you tomorrow.
