Visited Mr. Olney - February 2nd - of the Waltham
The
Watch Company, with four samples of eight day clock dials who
immediately examined these in the presents of their chemist in
a dark-room. Both Mr. Olney and the head of their dial depart-
ment are very much pleased with the result of our work and de-
cided to use the dial which we submitted with grade "H" on the
numbers and "E" on the hands at $1.00 each, material applied.
Mr. Olney immediately put through an order for one
hundred of these to be sent to us and informed us that they
would have two or three thousand of these coming to us within
a short time.
Mr. Olney ordered one hundred of the 00 size wrist
watch dials to be shipped to us to be experimented with so that
they could decide on the proper grade.
We will probably from
now on, do all of Waltham's application.
