RADIUN LUMINGUO
Dear Mr. Lee,
MATERIAL CORP.
In going over the correspondence which you sent me
with your letter of the 10th inst. I have found some reference
in two of the letters to the supposed promise made your em-
ployees that you would investigate the cause of the trouble
and presumably advise them. I desire to ascertain just what
was meant by this statement. It is contained in a letter
written by Mr. Roeder to Dr. Drinker under date of April 7,
1924, in which he says: "We have promised the operators a
thorough and complete investigation and I can sense a feeling
of unrest that will undoubtedly be satisfied after you have
looked into matters."
In Mr. Veidt's report to Mr.Roeder,
which was received June 12, 1924, he refers to the fact that
you must have something definite to present to your employees.
I think it would be well to arrange a conference
between Mr. Roeder, Mr. Veidt and you and me to ascertain the
basis for these statements. They constitute the first inti-
mation that I have had that the company assumed to investigate
the matter for the benefit of the employees and I desire par-
ticularly to know whether the employees were advised of this
fact and what, if anything, was told the employees with regard
to Dr. Drinker's investigation.
Yours
procedures very truly,
Relations
