Gentlemen:
The undersigned, representing the Aetna Life
Insurance Company, with Dr. Harry M. Archer, repaired to Rosedale
Cometery Orange, N.J., on October 15, 1927, arriving there about
3 P.M. At 4 P.M. the body of Amelia Maggia was exchumed in the
presence of Dr. Charles Norris, Chief Medical Examiner of the City
of New York, Dr. Alexander O. Gettler, Toxicologist to the chief
Medical Examiner of the City of New York, Dr. Armin V. St. George,
Assistant Director of Laboratories, Bellevue and Allied Hospitals,
New York, Mr. Raynond Berry, Attorney, of 60 Park Place, Newark,
N. J. and Mrs. Elizabeth E. Hughes, Physicist, of Jackson Heights,
Long Island, New York, all representing the plaintiff; Dr. Benjamin
Schwarts, of 33 West 55th Street, New York City, Dr. Douglas
Symners, Director of Leboratories, Bellevue and Allied Hospitals,
New York, Dr. Harry M. Archer, of 47 West 85th street, Dr. H.H.
Barker and Dr. Frederick Flinn, of Columbia University, New York
City, all of whom represented the Aetna Life Insurance Company,
of 100 William Street, New York City: Dr. Harrison 3. Martland,
Chief Medical Examiner of Essex County, N. J. and his secretary,
Mr. Francis R. Ginley, were also present, but not representing
either side.
The gasket was raised from the frave by workmen
in the presence of the above named gentlemen. The name plate on
the top of the gasket was inscribed "Amelia Naggia."
The body was identified to Dr. Armin V. St. George
at the grave by Valerio Maggia, father of the deceased, of 18
Virginia Averne, West Orange, N.J.
Specimens of earth were taken from the grave
by Mr. William H. Dey, of the U. S. Radium Corporation, of New York
City, at the request of Dr. Barker. Mr. Raymond Berry, Attorney,

After identification, the body of the deceased
was removed from the easket, placed in a wooden bos, and transported
by automobile hearse to Holle's Undertaking Parlor, 120 Brantford
Place, Newark, N. J.
Drs. Symmers and St. George accompanied the
body in the undertaker's wagon.
