Collins and Corbin, and Messrs. Edwards and Smith, attorneys for the defendant: SIRS: PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the plaintiffs demand of you, within five days after the service of this notice upon you, written admissions to the following:- 1. That Arthur Roeder was director of the defendant corporation from April 26, 1928 to April 27, 1928. 2. That Arthur Roeder was the president of the defend- ant corporation on March 12, 1924. 3. That Sabin Ae Von Sochocky was the Technical Manag- er of the defendent corporation from its incoption until May 25, 1921. 4. That from September 1, 1916 to March 30, 1918, the United States Radium Corporation, defendant, was engaged in the manu- facture of & certain commercial product known as "Undark". 5. That between September 1, 1916 and March 30, 1918, the defendant corporation was engaged in the business of applying the said commercial product known as "Undark" to the mumerals on the dials of watches. 6. That said commercial product known as "Undark" con- tained several ingredients among which were zinc-sulphide, radium and mesothorium salts. Yours very truly, Patter Bay Attorneys of plaintiffs.
