Replying to your telephonic message of
the 11th inst. please be advised that I had an all morning
conference with Mr. and Mrs. Saxer. These people are earnest,
serious people. They are going to give careful consideration
to my offer of $5000. I think they will accept it, although
I do not know. They will undoubtedly talk it over with Dr.
Humphries in whom they have great faith and confidence. As
