Dr. Herbert N. McCoy,
%lindsay Light Co.,
161 East Grand Ave.
Chicago, Illinois.
Dear Dr. McCoy:
I was certainly glad to receive your letter of
August 20th and learn that both you and Mrs. McCoy are
well and apparently no worse off than many others on account
of the deplorable business conditions for the past two or
thrse years.
The class "A" stock of the United States Radium
Corporation has no value at present, since under liquidation
of the Company's assets, nothing would be left after the
#Preferred was taken care of. This naturally means that
there is no market for the common stock.
We have had lrs. Lemn's interest in mind for
some time and sould gladly in any way possible help her
to unload this stock, but we cannot see how such can be
done at the present time. of course ve are always hopeful
that something favorable will develop, giving the common
stock some value.
Thile you are east, if you happen to come to
New York, don't fail to give us a eall, as I should be
delighted to see both you and Mrs. McCoy.
Sinceroly yours,
CBLce:DK
