Clinton/Gore '96 GOTV Programs
The Campaign has undertaken an aggressive effort to place staff and volunteers in
targeted states during the last few weeks of the campaign. Attached is a breakdown, by state, of
staff and volunteers who are participating in this GOTV program. Mickey Ibarra, who is leading
this effort for us, has recruited over 1,000 Washington area volunteers who are paying their own
expenses to work for periods of up to four weeks. In addition, over 60 Clinton/Gore '96 staff and
volunteers have moved out to the field. In total, over 1,100 Washington, D.C. staff, volunteers
and supporters have traveled to 45 states. This effort is critical to our GOTV activities and will
aid other Democratic candidates on the ballot.
