The major stories:
The oil weapon has not been sheathed, said CBS. No agreement
on embargo lift. Arabs to meet again Monday at 5 am EDT.
Energy is the major weekend story - OPEC's -month freeze
on prices, speculation over embargo lift, FTC's criticism of
allocation program or Schweiker call for probe of majors'
treatment of indies lead 6 of 8 Sunday papers and the M-E
oil situation led NBC/CBS Sat and NBC on Sun.
Other major stories Sunday: Impchmnt move gathers steam;
RN to Nashville; Europe "aroused" and "shocked" by RN's
tough words; Minneapolis banker's wife is kidnapped; No word
on Hearst or US exec in Argentina; Portuguese mutiny is quelled;
Skepticism of probers toward gasoline deductions on RN returns.
Last item is p. 1 in 3 of 8 Sun. papers and Sun. NY News banners:
"RN Lawyer: Deed toPapers 'Doesn't Exist. 111 De Marco's
claim that paper was destroyed as a "routine legal practice"

Mills says he has no inside info and that his
resignation/impch prediction by Nov. is based on what he reads
in the papers. NBC film.
"Failure of WH lawyers to produce the
document - they say it's lost - has convinced Hill probers RN
improperly claimed deductions for his VP papers, " leads Star's
Cohn.
McClory says Sirica will rule that G-J report should go to Judiciary.
CBS Sun lead followed by Graham saying G-J has info in its report
going beyond evidence RN is giving to Hill and it includes detailed
proof that hush money went to Hunt after RN "ambiguously" dis-
cussed matter w/Dean 3/21. If RN didn't firmly rule it out,
said Graham, this could be obstruction of justice.
And Time
claims RN said "it'd be wrong¹¹ only re: clemency and on 3 times
when hushmoney came up in 3/21 talk w/Dean, RN didn't say
or suggest such payments would be wrong.
