Jacob Schneider, Esq. ek: In accordance with our telephonic talk today, intinuing over the motion to dismiss the a bove case OK of prosecution for two weeks from May 8th, to May upon the understanding, however, that on May 22nd, the will be argued and the case disposed of unless it is inued without costs in the meantime. This ad journment n to cover any understanding you may have had with If you will examine the correspondence you will ALL on March 9, 1936 I wrote you that the case would have to se discontimed or moved. On March 10th I W&B advised that you would be in touch with me. On March 23rd you re- quested me to send you 6 discontinuance which I sent you on March 25th. On March 25th you said you would send for your clients and have them sign the discontinuance. Then hearing nothing further, we served you with a notice of motion for non- (If os returnable at Newark, which was for several weeks ago, the motion being returnable on April 22nd. You then called me and asked for an adjournment of two weeks which I gave wit hout question and served a new motion returnable at Trenton before Judge Forman, in accordance with Judge Clark's direction, for May 8th. Now we are adjourning this motion for two week B until May 22nd and trust that the case can be disposed of on that day, if not sooner. I am sending a copy of this letter to Mr. Smith.
