Paris, August 30,1949
PERSONAL & CONFIDENTIAL.
Dear Dean :
Thanks very much for your letter of August 23rd,
about the Rothschild property, etc.
Mr. Larkin has arrived here and I am looking
forward to talking to him about the program in the
French Union.
Do you remember our conversation regarding
Pauline Davis? I do not know whether she might fit in
if it seemed advisable to have her associated with the
FBO program, or whether she would care to do it, but
I think it is a type of thing where, in an advistory
capacity, she would have a great deal to contribute.
With love to you both from Evangeline and
myself,
Sincerely yours,
David
