Now comes Anna A. Perrin, wh o being sworn on her oath says
she is a resident of said County and State, and her post office
address is Buckner, Missouri. That she is a daughter of Joel

F.Chiles and Azubah Chiles, late of said County and State,
her maiden name being Anna A. Chiles. That her father, Joel
F. Chiles died in said Jackson County, February 18, 1855, leaving
surviving him his widow, Azubah Chiles, and his children, Isaac
S. Chiles, Cornelius C. Chiles (often called C. C. Chiles) Anna
A. Chiles (this affiant) known as Azubah A. Chiles, William G.
Chiles, Henry C. Chiles, Caldwell Chiles, Phenias Chiles, Mary
J. Chiles, Joel F. Chiles, Sarah M.Chiles, sometimes called
Sarah Margaret or Margaret Chiles. That said Joel F.Chiles
left no other child, children nor descendants of any deceased
child surviving him, and said Joel F. Chiles had no adopted
children.
That Azubah Chiles, to whom dower was assigned as widow of
Joel F.Chiles, covering the South half of the South East Quarter
of Section 12, Township 50, Range 31, and other lands, in said
County and State, died August 5, 1873, in said Jackson County;
leaving at her death no husband surviving her, she being a widow
at the time of her death, and left surviving her the aforesaid
children of Joel F. Chiles, issue of her marriage with said
Joel F. Chiles, to-wit: Isaac Chiles, Cornelius C. (or c.c.)
Chiles, Anna A. Chiles, this affiant, William a. Chiles, Henry
C. Chiles, galdwell Chiles, Phenias Chiles, Mary J. Chiles,
Joel F. Chiles, Sarah M. (or Sarah Margaret) Chiles, leaving
no other child, children, nor descendants of any deceased
child or children surviving her, they being the only children

of hers or of said Joel F.Chiles, deceased.
That her brother, said Phenias Chiles was unmarried on
April 11, 1874, but was married since that date, and he and his
wife are now both dead.
That Sarah M. Chiles, her sister, died on or after the 6th
day of May, 1899, leaving no child, children nor descendants
of any deceased child nor any husband surviving her, she being
