8:33am CORCORAN to SAM RAYBURN to request that he visit SAM at break-
fast tomorrow. O.K. SAM said he was not very busy tomorrow.

Mrs. HUGO BLACK to maid telling her she has a sore throat and
will not be able to come to lunch today. Maid will advise
PEGGY. O.K.
9:42am
Unidentified WOMAN to BILL YOUNGMAN telling him about a returning
soldier. She asks where she can take him.
9:45am
EDDIE LOCKE (Phonetic) to BILL YOUNGMAN saying: "I want to see
your boss (T. V. SOONG?) before he leaves. O.K. BILL will arrange
it because he said he knew that T. V. wanted to see LOCKE also.

STEPHEN WALTER for KINSEY ROBINSON. Out. He asked that ROBINSON
contact him at REpublic 0456. O.K.
10:05am CORCORAN to Justice REED'S office. He spoke with Miss GAYLORD
and asked if he could see the Justice today. It was arranged
that he would have lunch with him at 1:00 P.M. today.
10:07am CORCORAN to Justice HUGO BLACK. They agree to see each other at
12:00 noon today. BLACK said he is seeing JOSEPH DAVIES at
2:30 P.M. today. O.K.

CORCORAN to Mr. KILLIAN (Phon.) of the Democractic Committee.
CORCORAN asked when WALKER would be in and KILLIAN said at 11.00
A.M. today. CORCORAN said he would see him. KILLIAN said
WALKER is "looking for a definite tieup and I
told
him
about
your brother's surveys over there and he would like very much
to talk to both of you. He's looking for a definite relation-
ship and he's substantial and he has the goods. Latin America
and China, etc." TOM said that was fine. O.K.
10:15am CORCORAN to secretary of MADAM PERKINS asking if it would be
all right to change his appointment with the MADAM from 11:00
A.M. today to later. It was agreed that CORCORAN will see her
at 4:30 P.M. today.
10:17am
Miss DeFALCO to Reservation of the Pennsylvania Railroad. She
asked for 5 spaces, compartments or sections for T. V. SOONG'S
5 children on the 2:10 P.M., June 15, 1945, train for New York.
None available. The Pennsylvania will contact Miss DeFALCO if
there are cancellations.
10:19am Mrs. CORCORAN to JOSEPHINE telling her she has a luncheon date
with Mrs. HUGO BLACK and will contact her later. O.K.
