1. Weather:
Overcast high and broken to overcast middle and low clouds.
Visibility 6 to 8 miles. Temperatures 60 to 84 degrees F. Forecast:
Broken to overcast low and middle clouds. Visibility 6 to 8 miles.

2. Enemy Situation:
Hostile groups continued stubborn delaying action south of Chorwon
and Kumhwa and denied friendly advances northeast of Inje from well
dug-in positions. The enemy launched 2 unsuccessful battalion strength
counterattacks between Kumhwa and Hwachon and 2 others between Inje
and Kansong. (FECOM) (SECRET)
3. United Nations Situation:
GROUND:
a. General: UN elements continued to attack across the
front, making gains generally up to 2 miles and reaching positions
6 miles south of Chorwon and 8 miles south of Kumhwa. The 2nd
US Infantry Division moved to new positions as X US Corps reserve.
