1. Weather:
Broken high and broken to overcast middle and low clouds were
over all of Korea during the period. Battle area temperatures varied
from 65 to 80 degrees F. Forecast: Scattered high, middle, and low
clouds north of the 40th parallel; broken high, middle and low clouds to
the south. Visibility 6 to 8 miles lowering to 3 to 5 miles in light rain.
Battle area temperatures will vary between 60 to 80 degrees F. (FEAF)

2. Enemy Situation:
The enemy continued to offer light to moderate resistance and sent
5 probing attacks at friendly positions near Kumhwa. Enemy regiments
were observed least of Kumhwa and near the east bank of the Pukhan River,
11 miles northwest of Yanggu. (FECOM) (SECRET)
3. United Nations Situation:
GROUND
a. General: Friendly units on the left flank reconnoitered across
the Imjin River nearly to Kaesong, as one regiment of the 1st ROK Division
established positions across the river. Other patrols probed north of
Chorwon to within 3 miles of Pyonggang. Slight friendly advances were
made in the eastern sectors, as ROK units reached the Kosong - Yanggu
road. The Turkish Brigade was relieved by elements of the 9th ROK
Division in the I US Corps sector and moved into assembly area near
Seoul. (FECOM) (SECRET)
