Dear Elmer and Lois:
I certainly do appreciate more than I can
tell you your good letter of April sixteenth.
I am sorry to have been so long answering it,
but my personal mail has piled up so high
that I have scarcely been able to see over
the top of it.
Glad you liked the speech to the Congress.
Remember me to all the rest of the family
when you see them.
