Dear Mr. Stryker:
Answering your letter of liay 3rd, with copy of
your letter to lir. Markley:
We think your suggestion a very good one that the
investigation, particularly with regard to Mrs. Hussman, be oon-
tinued.
While Mr. Fort has naturally been somewhat upset
because his lawyer was not kept fully informed as to developments
regarding these case, there is no doubt but what he will give us
his fullest cooperation in the way of information, etc, on lrs.
Hussman, if we so desire it.
Should the days specified the latter part of
this month for the hearing stand, instead of those assigned in
September, we certainly will be obliged to get busy at once on
the final preparations of the defense.
